Dear Kid City Families,

 

If you joined us for worship last week, you know Kid City kicked off the 2025–2026 school year with an amazing morning together!

 

I’m thrilled to share something brand new for this year: Kid City has officially launched a new curriculum designed from the ground up just for children, with lessons tailored for babies, toddlers, and elementary children. We began this past Sunday with God Created the World (Genesis 1–2), and the following Sunday, September 14th, we’ll continue with Sin Entered the World (Genesis 2–3). From there, we’ll keep moving forward through Scripture, helping kids discover how the entire Bible tells one big story that points to Jesus.

 

This curriculum will take kids through the Bible chronologically, from Genesis to Revelation, helping them see how the whole story of Scripture fits together. While we hope your children can join us each week, we’ll always do a quick review of the previous story so they can connect the dots even if they’ve missed a Sunday.

 

In the past, our teaching focused on giving kids practical tools to make wise choices each week at home, at school, and in everyday life. Now we’re adding another layer by helping them see the bigger picture. Every lesson points back to Jesus and helps kids see that they have a place in God’s amazing story.

 

While Preschool and Kindergarten previously had separate lessons, now children of all ages will be learning the same Bible story each week. This creates an amazing opportunity for families to continue the conversation at home, making faith a natural part of your family’s week.
